YARR, IT BE A WHIRLWIND

YES, WHIRLWIND AS IN SKYLANDERS.
Now before TLoS tards bludgeon me to death with their critics of Skylanders and why it sucks dick or this or that, i want you to know something:
I don't care.
I also want you to know and remember, The Legend of Spyro is my FAVORITE Spyro franchise, and that i personally do not consider Skylanders a Spyro game really.
My opinion is not law, obviously, like i can't change what it is canonically.
But it does irritate me to death that people just absolute LOOOATHE Skylanders and everyone who likes it/plays or enjoys a few characters.
That's childish.

I've been playing Skylanders Giants because my nephew had been getting Skylanders stuff for the past couple years, and it's honestly not a bad game.
It's more driven toward kids, yeah but the second game (the one i've been playing) is honestly sort of challenging sometimes and really puts your ability to problem solve to the test.
I'm an AWFUL problem solver, and honestly when i play this game i feel a bit smarter.
Also, the character i use/love the most is Whirlwind, because again i don't really consider Spyro and Cynder part of Skylanders.
I'm not even into Skylanders fandom, i just like some of the characters!
Not to mention the levels are very picturesque and pleasing to look at, the collectibles, jewels and treasures are pretty, and it's just a big universe to play in.

That being said, i do plan to put Whirlwind as an AU character in MY AU for Spyro, called LittleTail.
I know i haven't elaborated on that much, but that's honestly bc it's not exactly well put together in my head yet XD

Anyway i do understand why people are angry with Skylanders.
TLoS was, and still IS amazing, but it didn't go anywhere.
I used to hate Skylanders until i played it (and grew up a little).
Actually, i'm more or less upset about Krome having dropped Spyro right before DotD than i am about Skylanders being made.
And yes Skylanders is a big scam to get money off toys, and i think Activision could have still racked in AMAZING sums of money if they had made figurines of Spyro, Cynder and the Elders and stuff.
Posters, clothes, etc.
I would literally own every piece of TLoS merchandise if they had made something for it, but they didn't and it probably won't happen, so move on.
Also, i keep hearing rumors floating around about other things TLoS related possibly being brought back in the future, but the reality is Spyro is going to keep growing and changing for each generation.

I'm not trying to tell everyone how to feel, but honestly, the Spyros we've loved growing up are not just gone or non-existent.
And someday Spyro is going to change again, and quite possibly it may do a 180 and start being our standard of "cool" again.
So what's im trying to say is don't give me any hate for liking the game, a few characters and doing a fan art, PLEASE.
I really shouldn't even have to prove anything to anybody, but when you're on the internet you have to be everyone's fucking mother/father and literally tell people how NOT to react to each other.
So no hate on me or each other, it's just unnecessary.

            That aside, my nickname for Whirlwind is "Phanta."
Idky, i just liked it and in the game you can edit and give them nicknames XD
I figured i'd post this line art before i try to color it and somehow manage to ruin everything.
I've literally drawn this two other ways in different style and HATED IT!!!
But third time's the charm i hope, i was REALLY happy with this one!

Bc like i said, i love this characters, but let's be honest.
Skylanders characters ARE pretty hideous
IMO, anyway.
And you KNOOOW how picky i am about wings, so here we go.
And yeah i changed her tail bc i do what i want and i like it =V=
