''I Didn't Mean It...''

I was going to put dialogue to this but my heart wasn't in it.

Back when Pepps (Prisoner 777) was in prison, he went a bit loopy from all the isolation and torture.

When Zim called to ask for something, Pepps snapped and unleashed all his pent-up rage on the Irken.

He told him that he was the reason Miyuki was dead and should be serving time, and that he hated him.

Zim appeared to be unphased, but unbeknownst to Pepps Zim never forgot those cold words~.

             Later when Pepps was freed, Zim approached him and asked if Pepps still hated him.

Once he remembered what Zim was talking about, the Vortian fell into a tight hug on his friend, and told the defect that he never truly blamed him, and that he didn't mean what he'd said about hating him.

He even told him he was his friend, and that he loved him.

So all is good between the ex co-workers

Yeah, Pepps cried.

I always saw him as an emotional man, but would normally hold the pain under a swell of comedy and smiles even when he's really hurting.

But when Zim asked him if he honestly hated him, the pain came out.

Hey, we're only human; all of us~.
