HAhaha no he's not mute, but this little Vortian is SO exceptionally quiet that most people think he is.

This is Bae, a Vortian equivalent of a 15-year-old.
He's shy, timid, and when he DOES speak, his voice is soft and high and very gentle.
He's like an alien Fluttershy... 

A simple boy, Bae takes interest in music and can actually sing quite well.
In fact, i imagine him being able to produce a very powerful and strong but still almost gentle sound.
The best and most accurate example would be music by Jonsi, who i will link later in the description.

Bae has a medical condition that causes his eyes to water almost constantly.
It can be treated easily with drops, but Bae is so timid he pretty much refuses to take them.
Should he genuinely need to keep his eyes clear, someone will have to put them in forcefully.
This disease doesn't hurt him or put a large effect on his daily life, but it can get bothersome with him having to wipe his eyes so much.

Bae is very emotional and has a low pain tolerance, but when injured he tries not to make much sound and just tolerates it.
Rather than groan or whine, he will simply let floods of tears fall.
It's usually pretty easy to tell the difference between his condition and his emotional fodders, but sadly he is often judged for being so emotional.

Bae's fairly intelligent, able to read almost any type of music very easily and can even play the cello!
He uses his music to help better express himself, as he is not very good doing so verbally.
Now for some deeper bio...

~~Deeper Bio (lulz)~~

Bae grew up with his single mother after his father left them when he was three.
His mother was kind, nurturing and supportive of the fact that Bae didn't pose as much interest in technology as most other Vortians.
Accepting that her son was different, she only encouraged him and helped him get singing and cello lessons.
But when Vort fell under Irk's iron rule, he and his mother were separated by force and he never saw her again.
Later while in prison, Bae would learn that his mother was savagely killed by an inmate of another species, and it all but destroyed him.
He shut himself in even more, and due to that hostile environment has virtually no idea how to cope with the loss of his home, his personal belongings, and ultimately his mother.
            Bae faced physical, verbal and emotional abuse in prison, and witnessed much horror.
This has left him absolutely terrified of Irkens and for good reason.
With Red and Purple as rulers anyone under their control is bound to face brutality, but luckily things turn around for this lost Vortian.
His prison number was #867.

When Zelle (see my Invader Zim gallery for art and details on her) becomes Tallest and puts the formers at second in command, one oft he first things she will do is order and urgent high-code investigation of every Vortian prisoner, seeing who's an actual criminal and who is innocent.
Those innocent will be released and helped to find a new home, and Zelle will choose a VACANT planet to create a prison on and send the deserving criminals to that planet instead of Vort.
But during a mass inspection while Bae was eating in the mess hall, this timid prisoner got a very rare burst of bravery and decided to take a chance.
Scared for his life and missing sunlight and fresh air so much, he snuck out and made it past the very distracted security and climbed aboard an Irken ship -- one of the ones that follow the Massive along with countless Spittles.
At least three Irkens could fit in one of these ships, and Bae managed to hide himself in a compartment while still in wrist and anklet chains and jail garb.
But while rummaging around in his compartment trying to get comfortable (as best as possible), he made too much noise and was busted by the co-pilot.
They took him to the Massive where Zelle had him evaluated and found him to not be a criminal after all.
Pitying this teary-eyed prisoner, Zelle permitted him to stay on the Massive and took him to a medical wing to be physically evaluated.
He was revealed to be malnourished, dehydrated, had a few abrasions on his arms and a few small bruises on his back.
These are small things and it could have been much worse, but his small abrasions were treated easily.
He also had a mysterious burn on his left hand that had to be bandaged.
No one really knows how he was injured, but given it happened in prison life to a very small and timid creature one would not have to think too hard.
His future is yet to be determined, but it will involve him getting a new cello and help coping with what he's been through.

Bae is just a tad taller than Tak, so he's an average height Vortian cannonically speaking.

 Bae was almost named "Boo."

 Bae's skin color was almost made gray, but i kept seeing caramel as more fitting with his bright green eyes.

 Bae was almost going to be appointed as a scientist before i swiftly changed my mind after listening to a great cello player strum away

WELL omfg JUST THE BIGGEST DESCRIPTION I'VE WRITTEN IN A WHILE XD

i wanted a Vortian prisoner OC by inspiration

I was inspired by my two favorite Invader Zim OC's' artists,

and !!!

These guys have incredible comics, sketches and just OC's and art period.
I tried to make Bae as different as possible so UGFFH SORRY ;A;
I also gave him a dingy lab coat-like suit and soft black undershirt and pants, but i tend to make many OC clothing like this and black and white are my fav outfit colors XD
