~~Audentia~~

She's not a Guardian, but she is a protector of sorts.
Audentia is a Latin term for courage and bravery.
Her nickname is "Audie."

Audentia is an anthropomorphized snowy owl, chosen by Tsar Lunar, or "Manny" (the Man in the Moon), to be a messenger and warrior of the Guardians and their world.
Originally she was just a regular snowy owl with a mate, and had just finished rearing seven owlets.
But on a freezing white night in the frigid tundra of Canada, she was staring at the moon, as if called to it, and fell into a deep sleep.
When she awoke she remembered her past life as a dream, and found herself sentient and transformed.
She was gifted with arms but still had her wings, and her enormous snow shoe-like feet.
After getting a glimpse of herself, she was spoken to by the Man in the Moon and told her name, and why she was chosen.
She didn't question him, and rather took personal time to frolic and learn about herself.
She befriended Tsar, and he took great joy in watching her play.
But she didn't have forever -- there was work to do.

She has ended up making her home in a snowy plateau overlooking a lake in Canada, where she was born.
Snowy owls tend to nest in the open, so this isn't a surprise.
She would later acquire weapons, and spar with trees to learn combatant skill.

Audentia flies over long, grueling distances, often carrying messages to North up in the North Pole.
She'll fly across continents, and even oceans, but her stamina is incredible.
Of course when she arrives to her destination, she often needs to rest for a week or so.
North is happy to oblige, as always.
But Audie is not selfish or a burden; rather she is quite out of the way, but not rudely.
She doesn't bother anyone, and gives back as much as she borrows.
By the time it's time for her to go, she will always leave a very meaningful and useful gift behind as a token of her gratitude.

More often than not, she fights alone and mainly just attacks and gets rid of beings and creatures that are seen as pests.
So, in a way, she's an exterminator.
She does not see Pitch as a pest, however, and actually respects him.

~~Personality~~

Along with being a messenger, the anthro owl is also a warrior.
Self-taught, she normally only fights with a spear bearing eight copper rings, the copper being a symbol of her humility, as opposed to using gold.
She isn't violent by nature, but she can tolerate and dish out violence at a moment's notice.
Audie is kind, soft of nature and highly feminine, as well as motherly.
She judges no one, and is the person one can always go to for help, advice, or even just comfort.
She's not really the type to anger, but rather negative emotions fill her with a sense of needing to fulfill purpose, and help others.

Audentia is very respectful and formal.
When speaking to others she addresses them by their names, and not their nicknames.
Sanderson, Toothiana, Nicolas, etc.
But she isn't stuffy or boring -- in fact, she's quite fun, and oddly wise in her calm nature.
Her voice is low and soothing, and has a soulful echo to it than could melt the very snow she was born in.
She may only be roughly 50 years old, but falsely-immortal life has served her mind well.

She loves to play with others, often enjoying a race with Bunny, even though she loses every time.
But she loses with grace, and teaches the tall rabbit to mind, and be gracious in every victory.

She's proper, but does enjoy chaotic moments and will laugh openly at the fun and hype, and will sometimes even join in and prolong it.
That is, while ensuring no one is hurt.

~~Physiology~~

She stands at 5'8" tall, a most intimidating specimen; it's a good thing she's nice.

Audie has warm golden eyes with a black sclera.

She uses her feet as her greatest weapon.
They're strong, able to crush bone and her roughly 7" claws have killed many an opponent by piercing them and puncturing organs.
She sharpens them regularly, and takes great care of her feet.
Her feet are zygodactyl, and she has three fingers and a thumb per hand.

She doesn't need to eat, but she can.
It's in her nature to sometimes hunt and eat, especially after having traveled a long distance.
She will hunt more often if a prey animal population is not being well regulated by predators, but when she eats, she eats like an owl.
Try as she might, blood and mess are a part of being a raptor, so she prefers to eat alone and bathe after each meal before being seen again.
Should any see her covered in the blood of her fallen prey she always apologizes profusely, and will leave.

She doesn't need to sleep, but will do so to recover after long journeys and quickly raise her stamina.

~~Preference~~

Having raised chicks with a male in her past life, she is oddly enough, pansexual.
She's by no means in a hurry to mate and will most likely never settle with kids, but if a romance were to spark, she wouldn't be overly opposed to it.
She loves people for who they are, no matter how they look or where they come from.

This started out as me wanting an OC with a ridiculously long tail.
My initial idea was something draconian and living in volcanoes...and then i was like "I NEED FEATHERS. IT'LL BE A BIRD. IN THE ARCTIC."
Brains are ridiculous, but change is good too XD

Anyway so yes, NOT a Guardian, but a messenger and protector of all things good
